IT Operations Automation team is implementing automation orchestration based on Ansible and we are looking for a senior team member to help us in our automation journey. Team develops automations for our internal stakeholders and is mostly working with the following technologies: Linux, Windows, Storage, Networks and VMware.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to automation platform deployment and development
- Design, develop, test, and implement automations
- Identify opportunities for improving processes
- Monitor, maintain and upgrade existing automations
- Troubleshoot and fix any automation related issues
- This is a relatively new team so you will be involved in setting the team strategy and creating the best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure administration, DevOps, development, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript is an advantage)
- Experience with Ansible is an advantage (AWX/Ansible Tower)
- Strong understanding of API connectivity
- Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure components (LinuxWindows servers, network devices is an advantage)
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, And Ability Requirements:
- Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate in English effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of IT and passion to automate it all, motivated to constantly be up to date with the newest technologies and proactively bring ideas to the table
- Be open for change and drive/support initiatives to improve existing processes
