Our client – Ostsee Fisch Kretinga is a manufacturing company that specializes in frozen seafood and is seeking a motivated Plant Director to oversee the daily operations of its facility.
Job Description
- Strategic Planning: Drive strategic & tactical decisions for company's plant including production improvement initiatives roadmap and align resources to deliver key functional objectives in alignment with company strategic goals
- Change Management: Smoothly adapt to a dynamic environment, adjust existing processes to changes, and ensure the quality of daily tasks
- Production Process Supervision: Ensuring that production meets the highest quality standards and adopts of best-practices across all plant functions
- Equipment Maintenance: Planning equipment upgrades, ensuring proper operation
- Quality Assurance: Collaborating with quality departments, conducting inspections, resolving quality issues
- Logistics and Warehouse Management: Ensuring the supply of raw materials and product delivery
- Employee Development: Motivate, lead and challenge team members to reach / exceed targets and objectives. Improve and sustain employee engagement scores to be within the top quartile
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes, and ability to establish and maintain operations standards and guidelines
- Experience in identifying and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives and implementing new technologies to improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and utilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members, stakeholders, and upper management
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and lead teams, build a diverse and trust-based leadership team, and develop local talent
- Experience in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a culture of collaboration and effectively drive cross- functional collaboration
- Proficiency in English
