Legal Team Manager

Our client EBV Finance is an international, rapidly growing team of professionals offering fast VAT and excise duty refund services from the EU countries. 

Job description

• Supervise Legal Unit operations, providing counseling and support
• Offer timely advice on legal matters related to the business sector
• Communicate with EU tax authorities for VAT and Excise duty refunds
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, participate in legal proceedings
• Stay updated on changes to EU and foreign legislation affecting the business
• Manage legal issues in all relevant jurisdictions for EBV Finance
• Provide counsel on company processes, and corporate and labor law
• Prepare internal documents and collaborate on legal issues with other departments
• Represent the company with third parties and collaborate with external counsels
• Lead consultations on data protection legislation for optimal data security and privacy practices

Requirements

• Master of Laws degree
• 4+ years of legal work experience
• Proficient in English and Lithuanian  – both written and spoken 
• Expertise in EU VAT and Excise duty refund regulations is considered an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of labor and corporate relations, Code of Civil Procedure
• Work experience with GDPR, showcasing your ability to navigate complex data protection regulations. 
• Experience in supervising a team
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and deadline management skills
