Our client – Virtualių Paslaugų Operatorius is one of the first companies in Lithuania to develop and implement a new generation e-commerce system that includes sale and management services and account administration. VPO's e-commerce system includes one-time money transfer transactions, payment initiation (MIP) and account information (SIP) services.
Job description
- Supporting the delivery of business results through ensuring efficient accounting and reporting of the company
- Managing, controlling and performing financial and tax accounting
- Preparing and submitting of internal and external reports
- Preparing and submitting reports to Bank of Lithuania
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chief accountant or accountant position, preferably in financial services sector
- Wide-range co-operation and teamwork experience, both vertically and horizontally, preferably in a multicultural environment
- Preferably payroll and taxation related experience
- User experience of different financial information systems
- Advanced level knowledge of IFRS and respective country GAAP
- Comprehensive knowledge of the accounting processes and systems (incl. IT)
- Payroll and taxation expertise related knowledge of respective country
- Advanced analytical skills, including MS Excel at good level
- Higher economic education
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language and in English
