The Role
Meridia is looking for a hands-on backend developer who is skilled in Python/Flask to join their growing team of technical staff in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will support their global teams in Ghana, Indonesia, Ivory Coast and our head office in The Netherlands. The role is full time. You will work remotely from their office in Kaunas while reporting to their technical lead in Amsterdam. You will be tasked with further development of their platform microservices. You will be in charge of extending in house services or creating new ones. You will review the code submitted by other team members of the team on different services. You will work in collaboration with the designer to make sure the service UI is easy to use and consistent. Talking about your broader skill set, this should include communication, time estimation, feature and user story design, wireframing, documentation, testing and deployment.
